Help Reshin Nika sustain his family during Corona

Our dear friend, Reshin Nika is a Shipibo curandero, recognized by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture as a “Médico Tradicional en el Uso de Ayahuasca,”  and is a friend of mine. He lives in Pucallpa, Peru. Médico Tradicional en el Uso de Ayahuasca is no small deal… Very few ayahuasqueros are recognized by the Peruvian government as being a keeper of this indigenous tradition.   

These past 6 months have been very difficult for much of the world, but Peru has been especially hard hit, specifically in the jungle interior. Because of lack of tourism, quarantine and rampant illness in that part of Peru, Rashin Nika has not been able to provide for his family.  Doe to that area has been so hard hit, the government has been enforcing the most stringent stay at home orders. 

In order to provide for his family, Reshin Nika would like to fish, luckily one of the professions that he is both skilled at and not banned by the quarantine orders. He needs help purchasing the equipment for the river fishing he will do to support his family. This includes a river fishing boat (pictured), nets and other equipment.
